Jose Treviño Morales was laundering drug money for Mexican cartel Los Zetas through U.S. quarter horse racing, and now he’ll spend the next twenty years washing dirty clothes in the laundry room at a federal penitentiary as reported by The Associated Press: “his brothers, Miguel Angel and Oscar Omar Trevino Morales, are believed to lead the Zetas cartel, which has expanded beyond the drug trade to become the biggest criminal group in Mexico.” Apparently degeneracy runs in the family.
